The digital ID is not a card, or a device, or an app. The digital ID is already here in Web4. I have one. You have one. The goal for insiders appears to be the linking of them. The only way to really avoid it is to go analog as a lifestyle.
Regular life example scenario: You get a new cell phone. You log into your bank. The device is "trusted." You log into your FAANG+MS account. The device is "trusted." Your phone number is used for SMS 2FA. Carrier information is available now. Etc...
